    Introducing the Opel/Vauxhall-VCI diagnostic tool, a new generation auto diagnostic tool from Bosch Automotive Service Solutions GmbH.

    This device is characterized by increased computing power and security, which allows you to manage the transfer of data between the on-board network of the machine’s electronic control unit using the auxiliary CAN bus. If you are still using MDI 1, you will need to purchase an OPEL/Vauxhall-VCI to match future PSA platform coverage models.

    You can also continue to use the GM MDI2 device. The characteristics of the two systems are similar. However, the Opel/Vauxhall-VCI is the newest development and has FD-CAN support at higher programming speeds.

    The OPEL/Vauxhall-VCI tool is also used for pass-through programming on all Opel/Vauxhall vehicles made after 1996.

    Device Features:

    • The instrument is equipped with point-to-point wireless connection – no need for an access point or IT support. The plug and play configuration is simple. Updated wireless protocol support (including 802.11bgn).
    • The instrument works via USB – no AC adapter required.
    • Engine crankshaft covers provide increased stability during engine cranking – batteries do not leak.
    • USB connectivity with improved ground displacement failure protection and improved performance (faster firmware downloads).
    • With reinforced USB connector and connector housing (more durable design).
    • Extended temperature range for industrial components. If the temperature becomes too high, the power will automatically turn off.
    • The device has an improved housing design that protects against liquids and drops.
    • Availability of additional vehicle communication protocols – includes protocols for future PSA models with faster data buses.
    • Meets SAE J2534 and ISO-22900.
    • The instrument is equipped with a longer DLC cable (2 meters) with twisted pair for PSA models.
    • Modern security. The device is protected from external tampering and device tampering with advanced methods and code.
    • You can significantly expand the functionality of the device at the expense of add. USB ports, a slot for an SD memory card, as well as the presence of function buttons.
