Mercedes Benz Xentry Diagnosis VCI Multiplexer supports a full range of service functions such as reading and deleting trouble codes , activations, performer tests, programming and coding, full system support. Mercedes XENTRY VCI Come in a compact rubberized case, does not have batteries, fans and display on board. An external power supply is not required, power supply is made from a diagnosed vehicle.

UMAS FAQs for Users

Change in UMAS.local_Ident process if your market uses this

If your market uses the manual identification process, the procedure in GEMS is changing from July 21. You will no longer have an option to set the UMAS.Local_Ident role. In future, you will be able to set the “Identified” status directly in the ‘User overview’ view. To set this status, search for the user in GEMS, then click on Overview. In this view, you can change the status directly after the manual identification process.

Independent workshops and Mercedes-Benz dealers from Germany, Mercedes-Benz national organizations worldwide and internal departments can purchase diagnosis hardware and software from this Shop area once it has been checked that their organization is authorized to purchase the products

Successful identification is mandatory for all GEMS Admins for the GEMS login

As announced in our previous Market Information Bulletin about “MFA for GEMS Admins and further security functions” for GEMS, it will be necessary for every Admin to identify themselves to be able to use GEMS from July 21 onwards. If you have not yet identified yourself, you can start the automatic process through the UMAS or you can use the manual process in your market.
